Every custom Ketubah begins with a consultation. We’ll talk through your story, aesthetic, colors, meaningful places, florals, traditions, and any details you’d love to incorporate into the design.

Following our consultation, you’ll sign the commission agreement and submit a 50% non-refundable retainer. Your place in my calendar is reserved once the retainer is received, and work begins from there.

I’ll create an initial sketch based on everything we discussed. You’ll have the opportunity to review the design and request reasonable revisions before approving the final composition.

Before I begin the finished Ketubah, you’ll provide your complete, final Ketubah text, approved by your rabbi or officiant. Once the sketch and text are approved, I begin painting, cutting, and calligraphing your piece entirely by hand.

Your completed Ketubah will be ready within three months of receiving both your approved sketch and final text. The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion, before your Ketubah is delivered or shipped.

Your Ketubah is an original work of art and should be professionally framed using UV-protective glass whenever possible. I’ll also provide guidance for signing, displaying, and caring for your piece so it can be treasured for years to come.
