Way back when, my mom, Sarah, chose the pomegranate as a symbol of our Aliyah to Israel. To her, it represented the idea that the most precious things are not always the ones displayed on the outside — like the pomegranate, the true treasures are held within.
That meaning has stayed with me and continues to inspire my work. This Ketubah is hand-painted in watercolor and hand-calligraphed in Hebrew, with pomegranates woven throughout as symbols of abundance, inner beauty, and the values we carry into the home and life we build together.
